Verdict

Beryl The Petal is progressing well and bids for a hat-trick under a penalty having returned a clear winner at Catterick last week. But MUSHARRIF showed he was still improving when landing a Class 3 sprint over track and trip last time by over three lengths and Declan Carroll’s charge can shrug off a 4 lb penalty and go in again in this lower grade. Highly Sprung is best at this venue and finished second in a similar contest here last month while course regular Mr Orange won this in 2016 and the following year and is now back on a winning mark.
