Highly Sprung has been in superb form and has gone up 10lb for a very convincing victory at Yarmouth so coming here with a 6lb penalty looks sensible and he looks certain to make a bold bid to go in again. However, FENDALE (NAP) ran such a cracking race when runner-up in a Class 2 handicap at Ayr last week that he'd take the world of beating in that form and he has to be the selection. Red Tycoon finished strongly at Haydock after scoring at Redcar and enters calculations and though Harwoods Volante hasn't won since last summer he's rarely beaten far at this level. Vallarta is very consistent and any further rain would enable him to give a good account while the lightly-raced Captain Dion is back over his best trip after failing to last out an extra furlong.
