Verdict

Cecil Corbett is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and pops up every now and then as he did over 3m1f at Gowran last month. Mighty Stowaway didn't have much to do to lose his maiden tag at Thurles on Monday but did it well over a distance too short. Shanpallas doesn't win very often and was a long way behind Neddyvaughan at Wexford last time. The winner is 9lb higher but should make a bold bid to give his rookie trainer another victory. CONDUCT YOURSELF was around 6l third in that latter event but has a nice pull in the weights and will enjoy the longer trip so gets the nod. Oathkeeper has yet to win in nine starts over fences but Carlitos Bay would have a chance on his recent run at Down Royal where he was only headed at the last over that 3m trip.
