Devinius was good value for her win at Thirsk earlier this month and Alan Swinbank's filly is taken to follow up racing off just a 4lb higher mark today, getting the verdict ahead of Eton Fable and Soggy Dollar. The last mentioned ran better on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time and would have every chance if able to reproduce the form back on turf. Joinedupwriting has been struggling against the handicapper for some time and has failed to reproduce the pick of his two-year-old form this term, while Manuka Bee has been given a chance by the handicapper but is hard to back with confidence on recent form. Eton Fable has been running well of late, including on a soft surface at Chester last time, and he rates a big danger, especially off the same mark as last time but Devinius has solid claims and he is preferred.
