      Verdict

The form of NAMASKAR's debut looks solid and this well-bred filly is marginally preferred over Dubai Bounty and Addahab. The last named responded well for the fitting of cheeckpieces (a rare tactic for a Godolphin-owned horse) when she landed a maiden on the all-weather last October. That was a marked improvement from her debut and, assuming reverting to turf isn't an issue, the mount of Dane O'Neill ought to be involved at the business end of the action. Dubai Bounty has impressed in each of her previous three starts and is a likely type for a race of this nature. Today's pilot takes 5lb off with his claim and the Gerard Bultler-trained filly has a live chance on these terms. Others of note include: Zahoo, who is bred to make an impact this year and ought to have befitted greatly from last month's reappearance at Sandown. She already has a bit to find with the selection, though. Contradanse, who recently swapped hands for 135,00gns, started the season with a gutsy success at Windsor 17 days ago. She merits respect on that effort alone. A 9lb hike in the ratings may put the squeeze on more immediate progress, though. In which case it can pay to turn to Namaskar, whose breeding suggests this longer trip will be absolutely ideal. John Gosden has his string in cracking form just now and this daughter of Dansili can be a strong fancy to sustain the momentum.
