In depth

Verdict

GREAT AMBASSADOR caught the eye with a late surge over 6f at Kempton and missing out by only a nose. He’ll know more today and the extra furlong will suit. Zingaro Boy has a bit to find with the selection while Hexagon was beaten a long way when second over track and trip but the winner, Positive, is held in high regard and Roger Charlton’s charge can figure. Berlin Tango is a half-brother to a couple of winners and preferred to the Godolphin colt Dubai Souq while D Day has entries in valuable sales races and Inflamed and Caribeno are early Derby entries.
