In depth

Lifeboat Mona is two from two under Rules but is penalised for her victory in a Listed race at Huntingdon and the fifth OUT OF THE MIST, who has won her two other starts, has a chance of reversing the form on today's terms so gets a tentative vote. Four-year-olds have a poor record in this so it may be worth opposing Amour D'or, Colour Of The Wind and Rose Revived, who step up in trip. Babylone Des Motte is having her first run for Willie Mullins after a break while Lady Persephone disappointed last time at Fakenham. Gordon Elliott sends over the unbeaten Whistle Dixie but her latest win at Fairyhouse hasn't worked out and Robins Reef and Copper Kay probably have a bit more scope. Briery Queen and Surtee Du Berlais may be the pick of the remainder.
