Pontefract Listed winner Emerald Commander hasn't been beaten far in Group company since and should be thereabouts again, although stablemate Secrecy finished ahead of him at Salisbury last month when they both finished behind third-placed The Rectifier. The latter has every chance on that form and the filly Lay Time also has claims on her recent fourth in a Listed event over C&D. However, last year's Vintage Stakes winner KING TORUS bounced back to form on his only his second start of the year when landing a similar race at Haydock earlier this month. He had Fontley well behind on that occasion and can follow up here with further progress expected.
