Verdict

Bumper winner Royal Supremo made a winning debut over hurdles at Uttoxeter in May. He has his first start since but today’s conditional takes 5lb off his back. DERINTOHER YANK has the more recent form with a double over hurdles at Carlisle and it could pay to stick with Donald McCain’s charge despite a double penalty given the ease of his latest success. Priory Lad was a well beaten fourth here last month, Eager To Know never figured on his hurdling bow while new stablemate Justforjames has been placed numerous times in maiden hurdles in Ireland.
