In depth

Verdict

QUIDS IN has taken well to hurdles and followed up a maiden win at Uttoxeter with a fair third under a penalty at Newbury. A repeat of either of those performances would probably suffice here. I'll Be Your Clown won three times over 1m2f on the Flat in Ireland and the switch to Dan Skelton should see him step up on his three hurdles starts to date. Scrutinise was also a useful middle-distance performer on the level but needs to settle better if he is going to stay the minimum trip over timber.
