    Verdict

A competitive mares' handicap with the weights headed by Golden Gael, who looked decent a couple of years ago. Dreambrook Lady proved hard to place last season but Phase Shift won at Doncaster and Ludlow last term. Rosie Probert has won four of her five hurdle starts and warrants respect off what is probably a fair mark while Top Totti and Mini Muck are both recent winners. But LOYAUTE's ability to handle the soft surface is a major plus and Chris Down's charge may be good enough to score on her reappearance as she was a progressive sort in the spring.
