In depth

Verdict

ALTO DES MOTTES found only the progressive Days Of Heaven too good at Ludlow last time and faces nothing of that calibre in this. He can open his account given Global Thrill looked beaten when falling at the last on his latest start and Skylander finished a distance behind the winner when third at Exeter, though he should improve on that. The latter may prove best of David Pipe's four runners ahead of For 'N' Against and Flat recruit Sir Frank Morgan while Barista will need to step up on last year's form if he is to figure. What A Scorcher is preferred of the others.
