        Verdict

        Highest Rank is penalised for winning at Carlisle with Barefoot Baby back in fifth. The latter’s stablemate A Bit of A Touch made only a modest debut at Beverley and Taifbalady has yet to threaten. Conversant is the first foal of a winner over 7f but fellow newcomer ALKHAWANEEJ BOY is preferred. Kevin Ryan’s colt is a half-brother to the useful Powerallied and an entry in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes suggests he’s shown plenty of ability at home.
