In depth

Verdict

BUXOM was fifth in a Listed bumper at Sandown in March when The Wee Lass ended up among the also-rans having raced too freely in the early stages. Jamie Snowden's mare, a daughter of Milan, is bred to be a hurdler and can make a successful debut over obstacles. Nuisance may need more time but Shantou Breeze and Valrene have already shown some ability over timber and will be waiting in the wings if the newcomers don't come up to scratch.
