    Verdict

It's doubtful this is what previous connections had in mind for LISZT when they paid £550,000 for him as a yearling. It's a measure of his decline that he was sold for only 3,000gns at the Newmarket sales in October but he was having his first race since when fifth in an intermediate hurdle at Perth last month. Elliot Cooper's new charge will strip fitter here and he gets plenty of weight from Leopard Hills, who easily beat Supernoverre at Bangor last month and can be excused a disappointing effort at Hexham barely 24 hours later. Newcomer Mutajaaser stayed 1m2f on the Flat and could be a factor if his stamina holds out.
