Verdict

LAUGHING LUIS is likely to be short price to make a winning debut over timber and could complete a quick double for the Henderson stable. He won bumpers at Worcester and Stratford last month with the minimum of fuss and beat Primal Focus in the first of those. Global Anchor was third in a Uttoxeter bumper in May on his racecourse debut. He has a pedigree for jumping while Fearsome won twice over 1m4f on the all-weather at the start of the year, though hasn’t proved as effective on Turf so far. The free-going Totterdown won at Hereford in April but was a spent force when falling at Towcester subsequently and is returning from a break.
