Verdict

Winning bumper Presenting Mahler produced his best run to date over timber over this trip at Killarney and a repeat would see him in the frame while the lightly-raced Effernock Lad was returning from a long break when leading for much of the way at Sligo a couple of weeks ago and will be better for the run. Hurry Kitty only weakened close home at Cork and is well enough weighted but this should go to COUSIN BILL. A dual point-to-point winner, he finished runner-up to the well handicapped Mustadrik at Down Royal in May and again ran well behind Abarta at Downpatrick recently.
