Alcazan beat Twilight Heir with something to spare at Goodwood last month and followed that up with a staying-on second over 5f at Leicester. Beauty Choice won over this trip at Wolverhampton nine days ago but is only 11-15 on Turf. COUP DE FORCE benefited from a third over 5f here in August by winning over that trip at Ffos Las last month. The step back up to 6f is definitely in his favour and he may be fresher than most. Sarah's Verse is running well but creeping up the weights without winning and Willoughby Bay went out like a light at Nottingham after winning a small race at Chepstow.
