Not many three-year-olds run in this and none have won for the past ten years but MONTIRIDGE can put matters right. Richard Hannon's colt won a maiden and a novices' event before finding trouble-in-running when tackling Group 3 company at Newmarket so this should prove within his compass on his return to action. Don't Call Me won a tough handicap at Ascot in September and has been a regular at this sort of grade ever since. He looks certain to be thereabouts while Fury won a Listed handicap at York a year ago and wasn't disgraced in higher class subsequently. None of the remaining trio can be dismissed though the 2011 Superlative Stakes winner Red Duke hasn't progressed as expected.
