Verdict

Betsalottie won this last year by a short-head from Seventii, who will now be a massive 18lb better off with jockey claims taken into consideration. Leading rider Simon Walker is on board the maiden Highway One, who will handle the going, while Bluff Crag ran his best race for some time at Haydock last month and would have to be respected on that form. Party Royal only just failed to peg back the winner in a similar race here in August under regular partner David Dunsdon and would have to be considered on that form but PALINDROME is a tough and consistent performer who goes well for inexperienced riders and can follow up last month's victory at Beverley.
