Verdict

HAMISH MCGONAGAIN is holding his form well and is taken to reverse earlier running over course and distance with Poppy In The Wind. But he gets only a tentative vote as most can be given a chance including the recent winners Indian Affair and Pushkin Museum. Jack Blane scored here on his penultimate start, Amazing Grazing was beaten less than a length at Chelmsford and previous course winner Monte Cinq went close at Southwell last week. The selection’s stablemate Major Crispies is not out of this either in something of a lottery.
