Verdict

Huntingdon winner Oscar Close was only beaten a head over a shorter trip here last month but Run Along Boy isn't getting any closer to ending his losing run. Calypso Bay did take advantage of a tumbling mark at Fontwell in May, when Princely Hero was only third, but has gone up 7lb since and Forever My Friend's hat-trick bid came unstuck at Newton Abbot and he's never won over this far. GLEN COUNTESS was in danger of becoming disappointing before winning at Cartmel but she improved again to score over this trip at Market Rasen and may be worth following now she's found her feet over fences.
