In depth

Verdict

Rain is forecast but the going is still likely to be quick. BORDERLESCOTT is comfortably the pick on official ratings and, as he escapes a penalty for last July's Group 2 King George Stakes victory at Goodwood, is difficult to oppose. Group Therapy, who was just half-a-length behind that day, re-opposes on the same terms and must be a threat while Hamish McGonagall loves this fast track and showed himself in good form with a fine effort behind Invincible Ash at the Curragh. Masamah was conceding 7lb to Doctor Parkes when successful over the C&D in May and could prove best of the remainder, though Amour Propre is one to keep an eye on after a long absence.
