Dave Dexter only beat Vintage Brut a neck on heavy going over 5f at Ayr last month and is 3lb worse off. Quicker ground would not be ideal and the runner-up has since been well beaten over this trip at Redcar. Space Traveller ran in the Middle Park after finishing second in a Group 3 at Maisons-Lafitte but finished last. However, he did finish ahead of stablemate Cosmic Law in the Gimcrack here in August. FUENTE was slowly away and the rank outsider in Kempton’s Sirenia Stakes last month but stayed on well in the closing stages and did finish ahead of a couple of much higher-rated rivals. Collateral form gives him the beating of Garrus and Keith Dalgleish’s colt could be worth an interest in this if allowed to start at inflated odds. Kinks could also run well at a working man’s price.
