      Verdict

Lady Lara never figured in the 1000 Guineas but shouldn't be written off just yet. Adhwaa showed plenty of heart to make a winning reappearance at Ascot and should again beat fifth Lustrous while Dutch Courage has the beating of Dutch Romance on their run together in the Fred Darling at Newbury. Folk Melody lost her chance at the start in the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket but still finished ahead of subsequent Thirsk scorer Pelerin and is now tried in a hood. RADIATOR was a hot favourite for a Group 3 at Newmarket in the autumn won by 1000 Guineas heroine Miss France but could only muster the one pace. She still has the beating Midnite Angel on that run, however, and the extra furlong here should help. Sir Michael Stoute's filly gets the nod to make a winning reappearance as Qawaasem is much more exposed.
