Verdict
Annie's Fortune would have a chance in this on the pick of last year's form but City Image looks to be facing a stiff task under a penalty. Pearl Sea was only beaten a length on her reappearance at Ascot and makes more appeal than Senafe, beaten on the Polytrack last month. Hanzada has shown promise in all three starts but will find easier opportunities than this to get off the mark and is more exposed than Pavlosk and HOW'S LIFE. The former, who represents a yard already in terrific form, won on her first start at Newbury four weeks ago and should go on the better things but the latter also deserves a crack at this higher level after running away with a Beverley handicap under a big weight on her return to action. She gets the nod, though Ffos Las maiden winner Orpha has her sights lowered after contesting the Moyglare Stud Stakes in September.
