Verdict
SABRE is taken to put one on the board for Fahey and Hanagan. The Mayson colt is already more than proven at this level, having gone down by narrow margins in both the National Stakes at Sandown and the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. He stepped up again when only beaten 2l by Land Force in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood and this drop in both grade and trip should see him go close. Vintage Brut would be dangerous if recapturing the level of his first two starts and indeed shaped far better last time so is viewed as the main danger. I Believe In You moves up in class but looks capable of doing so and is well respected after two smooth successes, whilst the overall profile of Chapelli shows distinct ups and down but she would go very well if having an 'up' day.
