Verdict

Nicky Richards: "He's a nice horse, he's just learning the job. I nearly put him away because I didn't think he'd get his ground but when I saw good ground here I thought we'd have a go. I thought he was the biggest certainty ever on his debut in a bumper, but Clever Cookie beat him. We might take him to the Morebattle at Kelso on February 14 next and then there's a Grade Two back at Kelso if that goes well."
