George Baker: "It wasn't the plan to drop him in so far back, but I felt if I didn't get cover I'd have run my race early on. I was keen to get him to relax. Once I got in behind horses he relaxed well. He's still a big baby. For me, it's all about the three-year-old. He's still unfurnished and immature in the things that he does. He's going to be a smart prospect next year."

Ed Walker: "He's done that really well and he's a horse that we've always thought the world of, but he's still so babyish physically and mentally. Even though he's had four runs, he was still raw when he hit the front, but George Baker oozed confidence on him and gave him a great ride. Although the favourite didn't have a clear passage, I don't know how much that cost him. I think he's a really nice horse for next year and I think we'll draw stumps for this season as he's a big horse with a lot of size and scope. We'll look after him for next season as we've only seen a glimpse of what he could be. Although he came from the breeze-ups and has had four runs, he's still got a long way to go. Physically he's done nothing but grow and strengthen. We'll see how he does over the winter and maybe start him off in the Feilden or one of the Guineas trials."
