Remi Casty has been reappointed as captain of Catalans Dragons for the 2017 season.

Casty, 32, will spearhead the Catalans' 2017 Super League campaign, starting against Warrington in Perpignan on Saturday.

The France international prop was given the captaincy following his return from the Sydney Roosters in 2015 and 2016, after previously captaining the Catalans in 2012 and 2013.

"I'm really proud to be captain of this team, it's a huge honour to represent the club," said Casty.

"We had a tough 2016 season but the team is now focused on 2017.
