Scotland forward Ryan Wilson has been ruled out of the rest of the 2019 Six Nations Championship.

The Glasgow Warriors back-rower suffered knee ligament damage during Saturday's loss to Ireland and he will return to the care of his club's medical team.

A Scotland statement added: "Centre Huw Jones and full-back Stuart Hogg suffered knee and shoulder ligament injuries respectively in the same game.

"Both remain part of the Scotland squad and will be assessed by a specialist this week to inform their programme of rehabilitation."

Scotland's next Six Nations match is against France in Paris on February 23.
