Nigel Owens has been confirmed as the referee for the PRO12 final between Connacht and Leinster on Saturday.
The showdown at Murrayfield will be the fourth time Owens has officiated the final and the third season in succession.
The Welshman refereed the World Cup final at Twickenham in 2015, and also took charge of the last two European Champions Cup deciders.
"I've got another huge game to look forward to at Murrayfield," he said.
"It will be my fourth PRO12 final and the standard simply rises every year.
"In recent years the PRO12 finals have been of a similar intensity to international matches and the Guinness PRO12 Final on Saturday promises to be a on a par with any other in Europe this season."
Owens, 44, is one of the best referees in the world according to PRO12 tournament director David Jordan.
"We are delighted that Nigel will be the man with the whistle at BT Murrayfield," said Jordan. "There is no doubt that Nigel is one of the finest referees in the world and I know that he will do a superb job at Murrayfield."
Three other Welshmen will complete the officials for Saturday's final, with TMO Jon Mason joining assistant referees Ben Whitehouse and Ian Davies.
