Magners League side head Pool 3 after convincing win
Ospreys claimed a second successive bonus-point victory over Viadana to move to the top of Pool Six in the Heineken Cup.
Man of the match Tommy Bowe scored two of his side's six tries while Dan Biggar nailed all his conversion attempts and added a penalty for a personal haul of 15 points.
And a further boost for the Welsh side saw the return of Lions' prop Adam Jones, who came on in the 58th minute to see his first action in six months following a dislocated shoulder.
Biggar's solitary penalty gave the Welsh an early lead but Garry Law levelled matters for the Italian side within the first 10 minutes.
Viadana enjoyed their fair share of possession in a bright opening spell and should have taken the lead when Law missed a good chance to add a second penalty 10 minutes later.
However, Ospreys got the scoreboard ticking after 24 minutes, Bowe crossing for the first of his scores after Biggar had sent him away with a pop pass.
The sin-binning of visiting captain Quintin Geldenhuys boosted the hosts, who added two more tries in his absence via number eight Filo Tiatia and Sonny Parker.
Law narrowed the gap with a second penalty just before the interval but shortly after the restart the Welsh scored again, Gareth Owen squeezing over in the corner to secure the all-important bonus point.
However, with the points in the bag Ospreys eased up, Richard Hibbard sent to the sin bin for killing the ball with Law adding his third and fourth penalties in the meantime.
Ryan Jones also returned to the fray in the final quarter after recovering from a back injury, a period that saw a hectic finish with three tries in five minutes.
An interception score from Gavin Quinnell, who scored Viadana's only try in last week's match, came between two more from the Ospreys as both Bowe and Nikki Walker crossed to give the hosts an impressive scoreline.
