Morgan Parra will captain France in Saturday's third Test against New Zealand after Mathieu Bastareaud was left out of the match-day squad.
Bastareaud skippered Les Bleus in the back-to-back defeats to the All Blacks but has been rested for their final Test in Dunedin, live on Sky Sports Action from 8am.
France head coach Jacques Brunel has opted for a new-look midfield pairing of Wesley Fofana and Remi Lamerat as they chase a first win in 14 attempts against New Zealand.
Lamerat makes his first appearance since he was dropped for partying into the small hours following the loss to Scotland in the opening round of this year's Six Nations, while Fofana wins his first cap since the defeat to New Zealand in 2016.
Benjamin Fall continues at full-back after having his red card rescinded, while Adrien Pelisse and Felix Lambey are named on the bench.
Brunel said he could sense the pride in his squad as they prepared this week.
"We feel that there is still freshness in training, even after the weight of a long season. There is also a mental freshness, the players are really motivated," he said.
