Rising stars Holmes, Jones and Wallace sign two-year deals

Wasps have agreed new two-year deals with academy trio Jonah Holmes, Sam Jones and Jack Wallace. Full-back Wallace and back-rower Jones have both been capped by England Under-20s, while scrum-half Holmes has represented London South East at Under-18s level. Wallace has gone on to play five times for the senior team, with A team captain Jones having made his debut off the bench against the Dragons in the Heineken Cup. Holmes, 18, is yet to make a senior appearance although he has caught the eye with a series of impressive displays for the A team. And Wasps director of rugby Tony Hanks is looking forward to seeing more of the trio, saying: "We are delighted to retain the services of three very talented young players. "We have great pride in our academy set up and the work that Rob Smith, Chris Lloyd, Mark Lock, Ian Taplin, James Wade and the rest of the academy staff have achieved - it is again paying dividends as we secure skilled and exciting players for the future."
