Munster winger Ronan O’Mahony is out for the rest of the season after suffering a fractured fibula during Saturday’s PRO12 victory over Treviso.
O'Mahony limped off after just 19 minutes of Munster's 34-14 victory in Italy, which clinched a home semi-final at Thomond Park later this month.
It brings an end to a promising campaign for O'Mahony, who is the PRO12's joint-second leading try scorer with nine, as well as adding to what is a growing Munster injury list.
Back row Dave O'Callaghan was also forced off in the opening quarter of the game and Munster are awaiting results of a scan on his knee injury before determining how long he will be out.
British and Irish Lions scrum-half Conor Murray is progressing with the shoulder injury that forced him to miss Munster's loss to Saracens in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup.
Jean Deysel, who sustained a rib in that defeat, continues to be monitored and it is hoped the South African will take part in training as the week continues.
Rory Scannell who sustained a concussion during the same encounter continues to follow return to play protocols.
