Novak Djokovic start his title defence at the Paris Masters today

World No 1 Novak Djokovic returns to action at the Paris Masters, live on Sky Sports.

The Serb claimed his ninth trophy of the season at last month's Shanghai Masters and was handed a first round bye, meaning he begins the defence of his Paris title against Thomaz Bellucci at the second round stage.

Djokovic faced the Brazilian at this year's Rome Masters and dropped the first set before battling back for a 5-7 6-2 6-3 win.

World No 4 Stan Wawrinka was also handed an early bye and faces a tricky test against Bernard Tomic.

The talented Australian should be full of confidence after an opening win over Fabio Fognini and won his only previous meeting with Wawrinka in a Davis Cup clash in 2011.

Andy Murray is involved in the doubles competition as he resumes his preparations for the upcoming Davis Cup final against Belgium.

The Scot will partner fellow Brit Colin Fleming in a first round match against Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares.
