Manchester City are one goal away from reaching 100 for the season ahead of their Super Sunday clash with managerless Huddersfield.
Their 3-0 win over Wolves on Monday Night Football took them to 99 goals in all competitions with four months of the campaign still to play.
Pep Guardiola's side still have plenty of work to do to catch Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, but no side in Europe's top leagues - let alone in England - comes close to their extraordinary scoring record this season.
City's total of 99, which works out at an average of 2.9 per game, puts them 18 clear at the top of Europe's scoring charts ahead of French giants Paris Saint-German.
Liverpool may be four points ahead of them in the Premier League, but their goal total of 61 only puts them eighth in Europe's scoring charts, with Tottenham the second highest-scoring English team on 70 goals and Arsenal third on 66 goals.
Chelsea have scored one goal fewer than Liverpool, with Barcelona (75), Sevilla (71), Real Madrid (62), Borussia Dortmund (59) and Bayern Munich (59) making up the rest of the top 10.
City's scoring feats have accelerated in 2019, with 22 goals scored in four games so far, including their seven and nine-goal thrashings of Rotherham and Burton Albion respectively.
City have shared the goals out so far this season, with 16 different scorers and five own goals.
Gabriel Jesus' double against Wolves put him level with Sergio Aguero on 14 for the season.
Raheem Sterling is next on 11 goals, with Leroy Sane (10), Riyad Mahrez (nine) and David Silva (nine) not far behind him.
Bernardo Silva has contributed seven goals, with Ilkay Gundogan (four), Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Aymeric Laporte (all three), the departed Brahim Diaz, Kyle Walker (both two), Fernandinho, Nicolas Otamendi and Oleksandr Zinchenko (all one) the other players to have got in on the act.
No fewer than 84 of Manchester City's goals have come from inside the box, including 14 headers and three penalties, while their 15 goals from outside the box included two direct free-kicks.
City's total have been split almost evenly across both halves, with 49 coming before the break and 50 coming after.
The numbers add up to a daunting task for Huddersfield, live on Super Sunday.
