This Christmas, Sky Sports News HQ will revisit some of the youngsters who enjoyed the time of their lives as part of our My Special Day series.

Join Kirsty Gallacher at 9.30am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm on December 25 as we go back and see how the participants have been getting on since meeting some of their sporting heroes.

The five youngsters in question are…

CALLUM FULLER - We return to meet young cancer patient Callum, who fulfilled a dream by meeting his football hero Gareth Bale, who was playing for Tottenham at the time.

Andy Burton catches up with Hayden Whitbread

HAYDEN WHITBREAD - Who could forget Hayden, who was fighting kidney cancer, and was taken to Manchester City's training ground to meet the entire first team – and his favourite player Joe Hart? We return to meet him and his family again.

ORAN TULLY - In last year’s Christmas Day special, football-mad Oran Tully met his idol John Terry and the rest of the Chelsea squad. The teenager from Skerries, near Dublin, had been in and out of hospital for most of his life with a rare stomach problem.

ALICIA ARMSTRONG - Alicia was a star of our second series and the young triathlete - who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia - spent a day training with Olympic heptathlon champion Jess Ennis-Hill. Find out why she will soon be representing Great Britain herself.

TYLER WHITE - During the second series the then-seventeen-year-old boxer Tyler spent a couple of days with a certain Mr Carl Froch - culminating in ringside seats for Froch's fight with George Groves. We’ll find out how his own fight – with cancer – has been going.

The show will also air at 3pm on Sky Sports 1 and remember, you can catch up with the full stories of our young stars by visiting the Sky Sports YouTube page and at
