Futsal's coming home...

Soccer AM is going to bring you the sensational skills of The Football League Trust Futsal League in a regular feature throughout this season.

We're going behind the scenes with the students involved in this exciting programme and we'll bring you highlights of the 2013/14 league and cup competition, kicking off on September 25.

Clubs compete in regional divisions every Wednesday, between September and June, producing some passionate derby clashes such as Wolves v West Brom in the Black Country or Southampton v Portsmouth on the South Coast.

Last season saw debutants, Leeds United crowned League 1 National Champions, as they defeated 2012 winners Reading in the final.

The Yorkshire youngsters will be the team to beat this year - but this time they'll have competition from more than 50 Football League and Premier League clubs.

Want to get involved?

The Football League Trust Futsal League is giving you the chance to turn your GCSEs into goals and gain a BTEC while playing Futsal for your local pro club - plus you'll get the chance to appear on Soccer AM!

The two-year scholarship offers 16-18 year olds the chance to find passes on and off the pitch at Football League clubs across the country:

LEARN: Study towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (worth up to three A-Levels)

TRAIN: Regular Futsal coaching to develop technical, tactical & physical ability

PLAY: Represent your local professional club in The Football League Trust Futsal League

WORK: Open the door to university courses and careers in the sports industry

If you have four A-C GCSEs including English and Maths or a BTEC Level 2, then you are eligible for this pioneering educational experience. Those who just missed out on the grades will still be considered. If you have already enrolled on a college course, it's not too late to switch to FLT Futsal either.
