Frank Warren will open talks next week over a world title fight between Billy Joe Saunders and Gennady Golovkin.
Saunders and his promoter revealed earlier this month they had received an offer from Golovkin as he seeks to unify the middleweight titles.
The Kazakh has the IBF and WBA Super versions, while victory over Andy Lee in December saw Saunders crowned WBO champion.
And Warren will aim to strike a deal with GGG's camp to match the two unbeaten fighters for a huge stadium date in the UK in the spring.
"We are going to talk on the phone at the end of next week and see what happens," said Warren, quoted in the Daily Mail. "It is a great fight but the details obviously need to be right.
"It is a stadium fight, not just a fight for a 10,000 or 15,000 crowd, and I would like it to be in this country. It's very early days but let's see."
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is the other recognised middleweight champion, and Golovkin challenged both via his Twitter account this week, asking "Who's next?"
And Saunders has previously said he wants the Golovkin fight despite the pound-for-pound contender's fearsome reputation and a record of 31 knockouts from 34 fights.
He tweeted last month: "People asking me about GGG - it's down to my management. If I get the green light, let's go. One thing I am is a fighting man. I wouldn't back down from a fight with any man."
