Dereck Chisora has told David Haye to show some respect to Tyson Fury after he was crowned as world heavyweight champion.

Fury ripped away Wladimir Klitschko's world titles with a unanimous decision victory in Dusseldorf last weekend, ending the Ukrainian's 11-year dominant reign.

Haye fell short when he tried to take the titles in 2011, suffering a wide points defeat to the Ukrainian champion.

The former WBA champion has recently returned from retirement after injuries twice forced him to call off a fight with Fury and has suggested the new champion is running scared of him.

Chisora, who has faced both British rivals, believes Haye should give Fury credit for his historic win over Klitschko.

"He should show him some respect," Chisora told Sky Sports. "David has been out of the game for a while.

"He shouldn't try and mug someone off after they have just achieved something big. Show the guy some respect.

"If he wants to fight him, just phone the guy and say 'listen can we fight' and get it on."

Haye will make his comeback against Mark De Mori in January and Chisora feels he still has plenty to offer, but doubts whether the former cruiserweight can dethrone the 6ft 9in champion.

"David is still in his prime. All this nonsense of fighters that are retiring when they are in their 30s, it's stupid.

"I think David Haye would do okay, but Tyson would 100 per cent be the favourite."

Chisora suffered two defeats at the hands of Fury, who firstly inflicted a points defeat in 2011 and then halted 'Del Boy' in November last year.

The Finchley fighter holds his former opponent in high regard and was not surprised that he posed problems for the experienced Klitschko.

"He's a big guy, he's an awkward guy to fight. He done what he had to do for himself to win, which is good. They can never take that away from him.

"I wish him all the best, he's the heavyweight champion. Good for him.

"Even the bookies had him written off, but when I saw the first round, I knew that Klitschko was going to lose.

"What Tyson did in the first two rounds - every time Klitschko was setting his jab, Tyson was feinting and Klitschko had to reset again. For the first three rounds, Tyson was just feinting if you look at it."

The 31 year-old former British, Commonwealth and European Champion will make his promotional debut for Sauerland promotions on December 5 at the Inselparkhalle in Hamburg, Germany.

Chisora is hoping to rack up his third straight win since the defeat to Fury and is willing to face any of the big names in the division, including Anthony Joshua who takes on Dillian Whyte on December 12, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"He's doing what he has to do to win and he's doing great," said Chisora.

"He's going to go all the way. If AJ wants to fight me, yeah we'll get it on. But not yet anyway, he's got many things he wants to do."
