Ahead of his fight with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, Amir Khan has been in Los Angeles helping promote the fight on May 7.
Khan is moving up two weight divisions to fight for the WBC middleweight title but while in California he bumped into one of football's true heavyweights in the shape of Liverpool legend and boxing fan Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard - now playing for LA Galaxy - and Khan only chatted briefly but it was long enough to discuss Liverpool's boxing scene with Khan name-checking several of the city's famous boxing venues.
