David Haye will announce his next opponent at a press conference on Wednesday.

Haye will return to London's O2 for the second fight of his comeback on May 21 following January's quick-fire win over Mark de Mori at the same venue.

The former WBA heavyweight champion, who boasts a record of 27 wins and two draws, stopped De Mori in the opening round in his first fight since defeating domestic rival Dereck Chisora in five rounds at Upton Park in July 2012.

Haye, who twice pulled out of fights with Tyson Fury due to injury in 2013, is expected to name a big name opponent as he bids to put himself back in the world title mix.

The 35-year-old has expressed an interest in facing Olympic champion Anthony Joshua, who challenges IBF champion Charles Martin on April 9.

Victory over a world title challenger at the O2 could see Haye secure a showdown with the winner of Joshua-Martin.

One fighter eager to face the Londoner in the ring is former WBO champion Shannon Briggs.

The 44-year-old has rattled off eight straight wins, seven by knockout, since returning to the ring last year.
