Kell Brook's world title defence against Kevin Bizier kicks off a huge month for British boxing - and promoter Eddie Hearn is thrilled.
The IBF world welterweight champion defends against the Canadian challenger in Sheffield - live on Sky Sports 1 - and Hearn believes Brook and his fellow Brits deserve more support from the public.
Hearn said: "We had it on social media with Paul Smith this week. Someone said he fights bums. He's just fought Andre Ward and Arthur Abraham twice!
"I feel like we need to be more patriotic over our fighters. Kell Brook is the best welterweight in the world. It's no good a promoter saying that - we have to prove it. Against Bizier we can prove it to a degree but then we go and do it against the elite fighters.
"Let's get behind him. It's going to be wonderful for British boxing. Let's see Kell look spectacular tomorrow [Saturday] night. Believe in it. Believe in Kell Brook. Show some heart!"
The following week sees Paul Smith and his youngest brother, Callum, back in action in their hometown of Liverpool - the latter in a WBC world super-middleweight title final eliminator against Hadillah Mohoumadi.
All that is before Anthony Joshua's maiden world heavyweight title shot against Charles Martin on April 9.
Hearn added: "Next week in Liverpool I think we've got one of the best TV cards. Then the week after, April 9, I think it could be one of the biggest nights for many years. Huge, huge card.
"Do not miss the action for British boxing in the next few weeks!"
Brook v Bizier headlines a big night of boxing with Luke Campbell v Gary Sykes for the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title and David Allen taking on American heavyweight Jason Gavern, live from 7.30pm, Saturday, Sky Sports 1.
