Jason Quigley says he has the perfect stage to showcase his skills when he appears on next month's Saul Alvarez-Amir Khan undercard in Las Vegas.

The unbeaten middleweight will perform in front of the world's boxing media after being handed a spot on the same bill as Khan's WBC middleweight title clash against 'Canelo' Alvarez on May 7.

Quigley, a former Sky Sports Scholar, hopes to enhance his growing reputation with an 11th straight win over tough Mexican James De la Rosa, who went the distance with Alfredo Angulo.

"What a card to be on," Quigley told Sky Sports. "You're going to have all the Mexican fans out for 'Canelo', all the British and a lot of Irish fans for Khan. It's absolutely ideal and it's a perfect platform and stage for me to shine.

"I've been serving my apprenticeship for 10 fights, two years coming up in July. This is my first big test and my time to grab it with both hands and show the world what I'm made of. Make a statement of why I'm here and what I'm here to do.

"It's a perfect opponent, perfect time, perfect place, perfect undercard. I just can't wait. He's bringing a great record to the table. Twenty-three wins, three losses. I know where I want to get and this guy is just another hurdle in the way."

If Quigley emerges victorious, then he plans to take a ringside seat for the main event as Khan steps up from welterweight to challenge Alvarez.

The Irishman will be keeping a close eye on both men, who are potential rivals in his division, and expects Alvarez to utilise his natural physical advantages to claim a stoppage win.

"I'm getting in there to take care of business, to put on a sensational and clinical performance, and once I do that, the attention then turns to Canelo-Khan," said Quigley.

"Of course I'll be sitting down to watch Canelo-Khan as a fan and hopefully as an opponent in the future.

"To be honest, I think Khan is definitely going to give Canelo problems, especially with his speed. But at the end of the day, I think Canelo is going to wear him down. I don't think Khan is going to be able to keep Canelo off for the full 12 rounds.

"Once he gets inside, he will be too strong and I don't think Khan has ever faced anyone as strong as Canelo and the extra weight will take its toll. My prediction is Canelo with a late stoppage."
