Eric Molina warns David Price he will "get hurt" if the British heavyweight accepts his challenge for an October fight.
The American called out Price on social media and the Liverpudlian appeared to open the door for a future clash, asking Molina to hold talks with his promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland.
Molina has not fought since his career-best stoppage win over Tomasz Adamek, a former cruiserweight world champion in Poland in April, and would welcome a trip to Price's home country.
"The No 1 place I would like to go fight is the UK," Molina exclusively told Sky Sports. "I love bringing fights that fans appreciate and it just seems that you guys are appreciating heavyweight boxing more than any other place in the world. It's a dream of mine to fight there.
"It's nothing personal for David Price. He needs a big win over someone to get back and I'm that type of fighter that doesn't shy away from these kind of fights. The crowd and being away from home doesn't affect me.
"About two years ago we had been called for David Price or even (Dereck) Chisora. I definitely think it can happen now because I talked to my people and they understand that I'm not interested in fighting in the United States to be quite honest with you. I would rather fight back in Poland or in the UK. That's where my heart wants to fight."
Price returned to the ring with a stoppage win in May, putting his career back on track after stoppage defeats to Tony Thompson and Erkan Teper, who both tested positive for banned substances.
Molina insists he can ease any doubts that Price would have about facing a 'clean fighter' and the 34-year-old is confident he would emerge the winner from a fair fight.
"It's an exciting fight, both of us can punch, and in my mind I'm always going to be the only one standing in the fight," said Molina. "I definitely think I could beat him.
"He has the sour taste of losing to some fighters who tested positive for certain things and I'm a blue collar heavyweight, I've got a full-time job, I'm a high school teacher.
"Everything I've got to this point is through straight up hard work and dedication. I've never once thought about cheating and I never will cheat.
"He wants to get in with a heavyweight, that's a name, that's a clean fighter - that's me.
"Anybody you put me in the ring with, they will get hurt. It's never been anything but that. I've lost, I've won, but I've always hurt my rival. That is something that I can bring to any fight at any given moment."
