Gennady Golovkin’s trainer Abel Sanchez has said Chris Eubank Jr is their "naturally next" opponent – but only if negotiations are amicable.
The unified world middleweight champion from Kazakhstan was expected to come over and fight Eubank Jr but, after protracted talks fell apart, he will now face Kell Brook on September 10 on Sky Sports Box Office.
But Sanchez has opened the door to a second fight on British soil, insisting that Eubank Jr's father must dampen the requirements that caused them to miss their first opportunity at Golovkin.

"I hope that [Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn] can talk some sense into Chris Sr," Sanchez exclusively told Sky Sports.

Sanchez was in Carson Jones' corner when the American lost a majority decision against Brook, and the trainer believes British boxing has radically changed since that 2012 fight.
The 14 world champions that Britain boasts means Eubank Jr can't afford to allow another golden chance to slip through his fingers, Sanchez warned.
"Chris Sr needs to understand that, four years when I came over with Carson, Kell was the only champion. Now you guys are flourishing. The coaching [in Britain] is great - 14 champions in four years, and there's a reason for that.
"So Chris Sr needs to understand that, in order to make fights, you need to work together. If he can come together with Eddie then of course we can make that fight. It's naturally next.
"Either that, or James DeGale. We can go up in weight and challenge DeGale."
