Kell Brook has an almighty task on his hands against Gennady Golovkin this Saturday and our panel discuss how the Sheffield fighter can be victorious.
Brook, the undefeated welterweight world champion, has jumped up two weight classes to challenge the destructive unified middleweight king at The O2 this Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Despite being the underdog, our panel of boxing experts explain what Brook has to do to defeat his Kazakh counterpart and write his name in the history books.
Jamie Moore
I'd probably try and smother Golovkin, getting as close to him as I could. I'd try to set a tempo that he'd be uncomfortable with, but it's so tough to set a game plan against him. If you try and box him then he cuts the ring off so well and if you stay within punching range then he can take you out with one shot because he carries such power.
It's a no-win situation unless you've got real advantages in height and reach. I think the style which would give him most problems is the Tommy Hearns type of style - tall and rangy, can pop and make him think about coming in.
Nathan Cleverly
Carl Frampton
It's going to be very, very difficult for Kell and to have a gameplan? I don't know... what do you do? To be honest, I think you have to get lucky and nail him with something that he's never been hit with before because otherwise he'll just be smiling and walk through shots.
Peter Sims
I think Brook has to try and box him. You've got to be a bit elusive. You've got to throw punches and then move off to the side. A lot of people think Golovkin is just a power puncher but he's good technically. Watch the way he dropped Matthew Macklin - a feint to the uppercut and then a left to the body.
Martin Murray
The only way to beat Golovkin is to try and push him back and come forward. Kell needs to bring something different to the table and surprise 'GGG'.
Darren Barker
Kell has to box how he does naturally, with that unorthodox Ingle/Hamed style which can frustrate a lot of opponents. The main job is to frustrate and unsettle 'GGG'. If he can somehow build up a bit of a lead by the midway point, Golovkin may get a little desperate.
The battle of the jabs will be key. 'GGG' likes to work off a stiff jab and Kell can be quite unorthodox with his. Whoever can nail the first jab takes a big step in trying to win this fight. Kell has to be very quick, feint his jab, draw 'GGG' in and counter him, you can't let the Kazakh get into a rhythm with his jab because it will then be a long, painful night.
Kid Galahad
Kell needs to stick to the gameplan and do what he does best and that is to box. He has to box and try and keep out of Golovkin's range.
Josh Warrington
If Kell could out-box Golovkin for 12 rounds then it would be a hell of a plus and something really special, but keeping him off is another matter. Golovkin has knocked people out while he's been getting punched!
Kell is a big welter so it's not as dangerous as Amir Khan going up to fight Canelo and he is certainly skillful, so maybe he can keep Golovkin busy for a few rounds and then who knows. The thing is, it's well documented that Golovkin's power is freakish and you don't know until you're in there just how hard it is.
Curtis Stevens
Kell Brook has a great jab, but the key thing is to hit and not get hit. Brook will have to tie him up and be like a mouse. The cat chases the mouse, but the mouse runs for his life. That's why the cat doesn't catch the mouse, most of the time.
Kal Yafai
Kell can also hit and moves really well. He is very accurate, especially with the right hand, so if he can nick some rounds with the right and switch hits, confusing 'GGG', then he has a chance. I don't think he can knock Golovkin out so he has to win on points.
