Isaac Chamberlain will ignore Wadi Camacho's social scrap ahead of York Hall clash

Isaac Chamberlain has insisted upcoming opponent Wadi Camacho's attempts to initiate a social media spat will fall on deaf ears.

The Brixton cruiserweight (5-0-KO1) vies for the Southern Area title at London's York Hall on Thursday against the much more experienced Camacho (16-5-KO10).

Jibes have been traded across social media in the build-up but Chamberlain, the star of Straight Outta Brixton insists his focus won't waiver.

Some streets in London are unforgiving but so is the boxing ring. Follow one man’s journey to find himself on both sides of the ropes.

"I think he's trying to make it personal," Chamberlain exclusively told Sky Sports.

"I think he's trying to psyche himself up because if you don't train hard, you'll look for little things to convince yourself that you're ready.

"He did an interview saying nobody would fight him. I said: 'you're looking for somebody? We can fight'. He said 'I can't believe these kids are responding'.

"He talks too much and everyone hates him. I've had so much support for this fight. I've never had a conversation with him but everybody says he's arrogant.

"He leaves his gym every time he loses - that means something. That means he doesn't know how to form relationships.

"I'll box him, and outclass him, and we know he'll die out. That's when I'll step on the gas."
